About us

Providing sustainable work and personal development opportunities for young people

The Social Enterprise Clydebank team

Social Enterprise Clydebank was established in March 2004 to protect the environment and provide employment and training in an area of significant deprivation. We are committed to providing the best quality opportunities for young people leaving school with no qualifications and from some of the most disadvantaged backgrounds by offering tailored support and recognising their individual needs.

We were formed as a subsidiary of The Link Group, as a partnership initiative between three housing associations. Since our creation we have grown 400% and created 25 full time jobs, 3 apprenticeships and 19 trainee places, training over 400 young people since were established.

We are recognised locally and nationally as a leading provider of training for young people leaving school with no qualifications.

Our Vision

We are committed to developing the organisation as a sustainable social enterprise through the provision of valued community based services in West Dunbartonshire and the surrounding areas.

In delivering these services, we aim to provide training and employment opportunities to unemployed people throughout the areas. We work with other agencies and organisations in order to develop an integrated approach to promoting environmental improvement, crime prevention and economic regeneration.

Our Values

We are about personal and social change. We have a passion about everything that we do, aspire to be professional in all areas, and believe that our ambitious goals require relentless creativity and bravery.

Our People

We are committed to investing in our people, raising aspirations and working with individuals to maximise their opportunities and ensure they reach their full potential.
